Maybe a slight modification to the air filter housing to allow more air in using to stock filter would help.???

I don't think the stock housing and intake tract is restrictive, it's not like many domestic vehicles that pick up 11-14rwhp from a hacked air box or an open filter. This stuff is designed to be efficient with minimal (if any) power loss, it's pretty crazy really to me.
