I just bought a 88 420 SEL
The car runs great for about 10 minutes, then it just dies.
after reading alot of posts about fuel pump relays I took a look at mine.
Everything in the relay is gone. Connections 15 and 87 are soldered together.
I am in the process of buying a new relay, but is jumping terminals 15 and 87 the same as jumping 87 and 30? I read in another post how you can jump 87 and 30 to test the fuel pumps.
also is the elect fan controled by this curcuit.
The fuse was pulled and when I replace it the fan runs all the time.
