I elect not to use AC because in my part of Florida it's hot and humid most of the year, and in the summer you pretty much just start sweating as soon as you step out the door.
The power it drains from initial pickup and the loss of fuel efficiency also turns me against AC, so I don't see a lack of AC as a reason to rid oneself of an otherwise good car.
Anyways, in a few years I bet they won't even make cars with AC because fuel supplies will be so limited and the new means of competition between manufacturers will be gas mileage rather than power/luxury.
We'll all be best off with our diesels because we can convert them to WVO (and then no-one will kill us for our fuel either like in Mad Max because their cars won't be able to run on WVO
).
