Hi guys, i'm new here so i apologise if i'm going to ask a question already asked before. I did serach the forums but did not find the answer.

Ok here it goes (don't laugh). I have a 2001 C240. My full warranty is over but is till have a year of the MB "major component" warranty left. Last month i went to the dealer complainng about clunking noises from the front. They went ahead and replaced the sway bar links and rod and charged me for the repair. I asked them if the item should not be covered by the major component warranty, and they said no, it's not covered.

I just found my warranty booklet and realised that a lot of stuff is covered. Under the suspension it says that the stabilizer bars are covered. Now here is the stupid part of my question:

isn't a sway bar the same as a stabiliser bar?
