I'm trying to change the center vent light bulb, the instructions I have say to unclip the hooks on the left side, undo the allen screw, then access a philips screw on the right side via the glove compartment. Problem is this 92 benz has an air bag versus the glove gox, and as far as I can determine the screw is there.

So how do you access it, can one open the panel infront of the airbag?
