The car does not have automatic headlights, so why would it have a sun sensor?
My old Caddy Seville had the automatic headlights, so it had a sensor onthe dashboard to monitor sunlight/outside lighting.
I think it may be the outside temp sensor (maybe???).
Or maybe it is a "secret" antenna so that M-B knows where we all are at all times. Some sort of Teutonic device to conquer the world...
