I believe the actuator is mounted behind the glove box.
Iit comes out in that area and loops around the top
of the engine. If I had each end of this cable I believe
I could fabricate a replacement. I believe if I had
one slightly longer it could be made to work but I am
told I can't use one that is shorter. I would appreciate
any advice you could offer as I am a very new owner
(first time) of any Mercedes model and I am the second
owner of this 65000 mile car. So far the cruise is the only
thing that doesn't work on it.
