I am in Louisiana and no we do not have emissions testing. One question, when they do an emissions test how long is the test and do they run the car on a roller or what. Actually with the egr disabled you get less soot and smoke than with it enabled. I think just the nox goes up.

And no, my car does not have a check engine light to light up.
