Dalton's scanner Ref to CS1000 for 94 e320
I finally built a code scanner per Arthur Dalton's instructions. Unfortunately, the results don't appear to match the problem, so I'm concerned that I'm not doing something correctly.
For example: 94 e320 Wagon with low and fluctuating idle, poor acceleration and an occassional backfire after startup. When I parked the car 3 months ago, it was beginning to have these symptons as well as the bad EGR code. I finally replaced the EGR valve and cleaned out the EGR tube and Water Temperature sensor (per dealer's scanner). In addition, the rotors now sound like they have a high spot (rub sound increases with speed). The rotors, pads and sensors have less than 200 miles since installing them (just before EGR code appeared).

Pin 6 - 2, 3 & 4 / Page 58
Pin 14 - 2, 3, 5 & 14 / Page 28 [Model years 1990-1992]
# Pin 14 [Model years 1992-1995] uses a 38 pin connector and CS1000 codes are different.
Pin 6 codes are for wheel speed sensors
Pin 14 codes are 2 = (fuel pump relay), 3 = TN/TD signal, 5 = Output for air injection pump control defective 14 = Vehicle speed signal illogical.
Does it appear that I'm using the Dalton scanner to CS1000 correctly?

Is there a 38 pin connector for scanner in this car? If so, where is it?
