Well, I didn't do much myself, except lubricate a few cables, linkages, rods, and catches that probably hadn't been relubed since June 1982, tightened up a few bolts, stuffed my driver's side seat with a pool noodle, did some A/C duct work, installed a manual antenna, installed a zebrano shift knob and wheelskin and although I didn't do the following items myself, I had an oil and filter change done with Mobil 1 15W-50 last month, a nice detailing provided me with a shiny 300D for a few weeks, and flushed the cooling system out and refilled with proper MB coolant and a bottle of Redline Water Wetter. I had new front rotors and pads installed today, and I found out that I had Kleen Wheels on my brakes!! I had them removed of course. I don't mind cleaning some brake, but I do mind having warped brakes and decreased safety.

I'm not quite done yet though, I am going to install a 125 mph speedometer with a working odometer in a few days, maybe paint the needles back to their original orange, install a retaining bracket for my newly acquired manual antenna which looks quite good I must say, and install a new latch on my glove compartment door, which is being held up now with duct tape. Other possible projects before school begins include... installing pool noodles in the back seat and passenger's seat, some more A/C duct repair, "reyellowing" the fog lights, clean the engine bay out and painting the grille black.
