Well I called MBUSA about the TSB cited above and they referred me to startekinfo.com. After spending $18 on what I think is a useless site... I called my local dealer and they advised me to remove the roof rack. I did and there is no more noise. I am willing to deal with the noise during the ski season but for sunny days in CA where the sunroof open makes my drive that much more enjoyable... losing the rack is OKAY with me.
