This is absolutely true. The NGK resistor plugs I have in my car worked great for the first few thousand miles (even passed the emissions test last year with flying colors). A few thousand miles later I had to reduce the gap by 1/2 just to get it to run without stalling and stumbling at a light.
I have the correct H9DC0 plugs (M103) ordered from FastLane along with my new voltage regulator. The local Autozoo and O'Reilly only listed the Bosch Super and NGK plugs for my car. Didn't know anything about the H9DC0.
