R12 prices are going down. I bought it for $14.06 per pound delivered to my door. There is just no reason to convert a system anymore, especially with 134 prices hitting $8 and more this summer.

It would cost less to flush, change r/d, put in fresh amount of mineral oil, evacuate and recharge than to increase the condensor size or put in a parallel flow.
