well, i dont know what to say....

but when i lined my two notches up like the photo i was way off and mine did not come into time until i lined up the notch on the head with the drilled hole looking thing.... there is a notch on the top of the sprocket and a notch on the bottom.... so we did not use the notches and it runs perfectly... but i would go with the photo....
