Maybe the One-Up-Jones family types wouldn't want one, but let me tell you right now, and I'll put a deposit on it *now*. You give me a utility type van (small is fine) (just something I can throw my dog a few tools, and maybe some of my other junk in (nothing crazy)) for $5k that gets almost 50 MPG and I'll buy it now. I will even consider buying two.

I don't think the reason we don't have it here has anything to do with Marketing, etc. I think it has to do with certain oil-driven political agendas. I mean really, think about it. We *all* know (or at least most of us diesel heads know) what kind of MPG we could be seeing out of a gal. of diesel. Look at the VW Gold TDI, etc. and yet we burn gasoline @ 18 MPG.

If the government, etc REALLY cared about the public, and the environment the world would be in a very different place.

But I ain't gonna be (as tribute to my grammer thread) the one to turn this into a political thread. I'm going to google this van. May I can smuggle one into my next container from China. Hehe.
