Boy, I don't remember that quote, but okay!
Since you say your headlights and turn signals are dim and you are having difficulty starting the car, I would rule out the dash light ground. You DID say you just replaced the ignition switch, and that kinda sets off a light bulb in my head. You may have a poor connection that is preventing total current from passing through the live wire in the switch.
I can't give you much advice beyond that since I'm not familiar with ignition switch wiring, nor am I knowledgable with your particular model....sorry.
