i was reading

I am a flying nut and i was reading about airplane oil recently.. and
as you know they always do oil analysis.... and they look for parts per million
of certian metals... the scientist found no difference between the various aircraft oils but the did find that if the change intervals are extended the parts per million of metals increased exponentially....

so there is no way around this.... no matter how good the oil let it go 15000 miles and it will be loaded with metal and the metal will increase with each 1k miles... even if you change the filter.
