get an old toyota celica

If you need a beater car, get an old toyota that has been maintained. Mine 86 Celica GTS is still running as strong as the day I bought it with now 206k. Original engine, no oil consumption, no coolant consumption. Clutch was replaced at 77k, still works fine. A/C still work, but was repaired 7 years ago. Second timing belt recently done. Just did the steering rack and new shocks in front by myself. Parts cheap. Now drives great. Can't beat an old toyota. The power train doesn't seem to break.

I am getting away from MBZ. Cost too much to fix even the little things. Nice cars though, but has to be religiously maintained. Just bought a Lexus RX330 to replace my ML 320. I have to say, it is a much smoother ride with a lot of amenities and safety features. And may I say reliable.
