I saw your post but did not know if my 82 300D was like your car or not. I was able to replace my drive axels but not my wheel bearings. It appears like a rather difficult job. (I replaced a pair of hubs on a 76 vette and don't ever want to get into that again.) Do you know if the SD and W123 have the same rear wheel bearing assembly? If it does would you now let me know how you replaced yours? Thank you.
