Maybe the ignition switch? I don't think that model had the starter lock out on the alarm, but worth checking. The ignition swithes in those cars go bad after awhile. Have they tried kicking the starter manually? It could also be the starter itself. The dealer can jump the silenoid to determine if the starter is bad, then once that is determined they should check the circuit from the ignition switch. Good luck!
