nah, no more a pain than other bearings. If you don't want to attempt yourself just take hub off and take to shop and have someone more familiar with the procedure take old out and put new in. I like to do those things myself, unless I can watch, on account if the seal gets messed up or something then I know it - I don't like to take someone else's word. Cheryl
