I don't believe that any of the C-class sedans (w202s) had that particular diagnostic module. It was limited to the w201, w124, w126 (some, not all) and r129 (very early) models. The w202 had OBDII data connectors...you can take it to Autozone and they should be able to read the code(s) for you (free).
