Checking the ETM for the 380SL it is not very desciptive. BUT the schematic looks identical for the 560SL. All diagrams and wire color codes are the same. so lets asssume it is the same.
Above the fuse box is a relay area. The top silver cube is the over voltage protection relay. The next one down is the K4 window relay.
Now before you take off the kick panel to get to it. Check the voltage on Fuse #3 and Fuse #4. If no voltage then it is the relay. If you have voltage then it is downstream from the fuses box.
The schematic is attached also. I cut it in half so it can be read.
