When I researched the grease (many posts this site) before doing my monowiper, I saw recommendations for ATF, white lithium grease, and synthetic. I have all three, but decided to use Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease (for wheel bearings, chasses, Suspension, U-joints). It has a pretty good temperature range, and I had previously gone to synthetic oil and synthetic trans fluid. I was happy with those and am likewise pleased with smoothness and quietness of monowiper now that I have completed greasing it.
