Do you know how to check for power going to that window motor? A quick test I have read about is energize your interior light and then with the key in the appropriate position press the window switch. The light should dim slightly if electricity is being drawn. If you already have the interior door panel off there was a two post, black electrical connector with four wires showing. Those should provide the current to the window motor. With a test light or meter you can check for power at either of those posts when you activate the window switch.

The above is what I just went through on my '87 300TD (124). I was also told/read you can run a jumper wire from the positive post of the battery to one of the two posts and see if that powers the window. It is VERY IMPORTANT not to do more than touch the power to the post since you may have a situation like I did where the regulator gears were bound up tight.

Post back with the progress on checking for power.
