I had a rebuilt engine installed in our '85 300D about 2 yeras ago. At that time, the injectors were serviced. When I got the car back, the injectors were leaking at a joint in the body. This was fixed at that time.

But now, I see damp areas aroung two of the injectors and some light colored dripping on the garage floor - I think I have same problem again.


What causes the injectors to leak - What does it take to cure this?
