I have a 1988 300 SE Germany. the motor starts up then the trunk and bumper gets really really hot? Can smell it in the car.
Just got the car but afraid of it.
The car will start really easy and run for maybe a minute and then quit. Then I can start it up again and it will run again for a minute. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Would catlatic converter cause this problem? It has a new fuel pump on it. It dont miss or backfire. Motor just dies until started again.
