I agree. The ribbons are a load of crap in most cases. What I really think is funny are the ones that are "forgotten" on the car, faded to just a piece of yellowish magnet, words can't be read. The people put them there and forgot all about them. Very symbolic of the American public in general. Short attention spans for the important things, but they can remember what happenon the Soap Opera 20 years ago and who one the world series in 1970.

It's just another way to watch the herd follow the leader.
