I noticed something peculiar the under my hood. my transmission dipstick has the number 126 271 2101. the transmission i am about to by has the same number on the side. is this a chasis number or a transmission number and does it have anything to do with the transmission fiting into a 91 300e? I was also told that it may be a gear box number. if so, is a gearbox number the same as a transmission number?
