I don't mean to hijack this post, but what parts should be replaced on a trans with about 155K mi. on it that doesn't have any particular problems other than leaky seals? I don't mind spending a little money on it now to prevent having to pull it again in another 50k mi. What special tools would be needed?
Also, are you familiar with the
Shift Correction Package made by
Superior Transmission Parts ? Do you think this would be a useful kit to add while the trans is out? Any personal or second-hand experience with this kit?
