I'd also like to add that if you live in a hot climate (like I do) to use the OE cloth-type insulation instead of the hood pad made of foam.

I replaced mine a couple of years ago with one made of foam and it is already starting to flake and disintegrate to the touch. Most likely due to the extreme heat here in Houston.
