It has been few days now trying to get car to start and it is very frustrating. Checked everything I know and it still wouldn’t. I checked the following:

1- plugs are definitely getting fuel. Pulled several plugs out and all were wet.
2- Measured ignition coil primary and secondary coils for resistance. Got 0.45 ohms and 10K ohms respectively. Ignition coil is fine.
3- Checked transistorized switching unit. Got about 5 volts at primary coil end when points were closed and 0 volts when points were opened.
4- Replaced distributor rotor.
5- Checked resistance of electrical lead going from coil to distributor and measured high as expected about 10k ohms.
6- Did not check for spark but I am sure I am getting spark because engine is turning and sounds like it is firing in there but doesn’t want to keep going.
7- Checked all of the hoses and connections.
8- I don’t think it is the timing
9- Choke is fine and am getting plenty of air.

If I am getting all of the three ingredients (fuel, air, and spark) why isn’t the engine running. Could anything else be bad?

Please help.
