I've always changed my own fluid...so this is only what I hear...don't they actually force fluid through the system? This could be dangerous on a vehicle that's seen some fair amount of use being that debris could be dislodged and not fully flushed out...possibly causing tranny damage. And yes I believe the gasket and such aren't replaced which you should do on an MB when changing the fluid. Depending on your vehicle it shouldn't be a big deal to change it yourself and it wouldn't break the bank to pay a decent indie to do it for you. Best of luck
