I need to change out the steering box on my 1983 300 SD. I have someone with a steering box out of a 1991 420 SEL that told me it would fit. I know they are both W126 models but one is Diesel and the other is Gas but, I don’t think that should matter. I am more concerned with the year difference. I just wanted to verify with the forum.
