Don't bother using those services on an MB. Unlike many modern transmissions that are sealed for life, the MB autos pan can be removed and the converter drained.

Those transmission fluid changers are nothing more than a tank with a membrane separating the old from the new. New fluid is put in one side and the trans cooler lines rerouted so that the old fluid is pumped into one side displacing new fluid into the pan. The transmission does the pumping part.

BTW, the writer is a Volvo Master Service Tech and he is really good. When my Volvos needed service, I took them to him. Now the ex has the Volvo and I still take the car to him.
