At the transmission electrical connector on the trans side (male pins).
Measure resistance between pins 6 & 2 to check modulator solenoid
Measure resistance between pins 6 & 10 to check the shift pressure solenoid.
BOTH(either) should be from 4-8 ohms! Good luck!
The MB part number for those solenoids(either one) is 203-270-00-89 & have a list of $184 each!
The part number for a reman exchange valve body is 140-270-06-06-88 & list for that is only $343!!!!!! They come with new solenoids! Takes about 1-1.5 hrs to install valve body!
