sounds like

you have an obstruction in the track and it overloaded the motor til a fuse blew..check all fuses. the switch i think has a little thingie at each end that can be pushed to the center of the switch and then it can be lifted straight up.

then you need to pull the door panel and check out your track mechanisms. the door panel hast if i remember correctly two largish screws that go in througn the door pull, then it pulls out all around the edges being held by pointy plastic clips. use a flat screwdriver and do this carefully or you will damage the cardboard base material, then it lifts straight up.
