Just to update;

Got hold of the little plastic bits - $15 each from MB Spares in Canberra (I knew our $ was down but you guys get them cheap!!).

Tried the 'creative' solution - went to 4 hardware shops and no-one had heard of a binder post. Oh well.

Settled on the 'correct' solution, removed the regulator, drilled out the bit and then as I don't have a press - hammered the little post 'till it flattened (put a nut behind the plastic bit resting on the metal bit to raise it up while I hammered) sort of correct fix.

Anyway 2 hours per door, and a couple of beers at the end (Crown Lagers, made by the same company but much much better).
