Well this is a euro that was imported without emission controls, so I have pretty much expected nothing on the car to be documented as it is all after market and custom. It doesn't make sense to put that right next to the exhaust manifold either, wouldn't the extra heat make it harder to condense the fuel? This one shows no sign of rust, and shouldn't, the car was from cali and has no rust, but could it have failed, letting fuel evaporate out of my tank for no real reason?
