Have you tried to start a Honda 450 4-stroke before?

yep

right after I got home with it and unloaded it off the trailer. I about worked up a sweat starting it but once running it is a blast. I finally found the compression release. Anyway, there is something about a m/c that you can be running along at about 40 mph in 3rd gear and roll the throttle on and pick the front tire up. (I would assume you get the same feeling from driving a Ferrari on a wide open, clear freeway). Very impressive machine.
It is going to take me awhile to get where I can ride it anywhere nears it's limit. I am looking forward to being able to ride with the youngest son. Hopefully I can get the oldest involved when he gets out of the situation he is in.
Back in the early 70's when I was racing the Yamaha 360 two strokes we were always cautious about that baby kicking back on you. I want to say that they were probably harder to start than the Honda.
