i am having similar problems like you. i have replaced: spark plugs, rotor, and an ajusted eha. all seem to have solved my problem of starting some what but occationally, esspecially when it is warm outside i have a long cranking period and even then it will stumble and sometimes shut off. it was cold this morning and it started better than it ever had. i intend to replace the fuse first to see if it solves the problem. the old fuse looks like it has a small crack in it, unsure. i have noticed also that my slugshness could be one of two things, bad fuel filter and pump, or the transmission since the trans is from an 88 300e(long story ) i'll keep you posted on my progress.
