I'm going to take a look through some of my schematics I think, try and see if we can help any further. The BM looks physically significant and so I was guessing managed all the remaining electronics on the vehicle - like the MPG gauge etc but maybe it's role is quite modest in reality. Perhaps it's all air inside?
