Not sure I remember all thats needed but it goes something like this:
1) remove the inside cover directly behind the mirror. should pop-off.
2) remove three (3) screws and the whole mirror assy should come off.
3) I believe there's a plug for the motor assy/control that needs to be un-hooked.
That should get you close to completetion . . . I hope
