My 83' 300td instrument cluster works with lights off.
When I turn on the lights, a humming sound starts, The fuel gauge, temp. gauge pegs max and the directionals come on and stay on (not blinking). Directionals don't work w/ lights on, intermittent w/ lights off.
I have searched the archives and haven't found anything quite like this.
Any advice on diagnosing this?
