Petrified O rings are the likely issue. However I saw little change on my cars with them replaced...but the way I see it...if its rubber it should be flexible....if its not it needs replaced.
If your hoses are leaking its a good idea to replace them ASAP...a hose failing can dump the entire contents of the oil pan before you know there is a problem...
