to make it easiest you

should start with two mechanically complete cars if possible. you should plan on changing the instrument cluster, radiator (may be optional), all the mechanical bits as you have listed above, etc. you may have to switch the oil cooler, but the v8 car prob has one too. there will be some vac lines and wiring to switch too.
i dont see any reason why it wont work.
