In Kansas diesel is like $3.50 and regular is about $2.25 or less. Why the big difference? I thought you could get more diesel than gas from a barrel of crude. You would have to get 50% better mileage to justify driving a diesel unless you are using veg oil. Costco sells 5 gallons of soybean oil for $12. Maybe $13 something with the tax?
