Does anyone have an ignition switch wiring diagram that they can scan and send to me? I have looked through the CD repair manual and cannot seem to find a single diagram that encompasses all the switch wires and where they terminate. My problem is that I had the Aux. fan fuse not blow and caused the harness to overheat/short. All the wires to the ignition switch lost (melted) their insulation as well as the aux fan fuse wires.

My plan is to rewire the ignition switch by running the wires direct to their proper connection points and eliminating (cutting) the originals. This seems to be a better option than completely replacing the interior main wiring harness.

Does anyone know if Mercedes offers a "repair" harness for such a situation?
