i put a new stereo with *four* speakers and built a subwoofer into the first aid kit. tomorrow i am adding a sub woofer.
its a w123 240D, the original owner didnt care about sound, it had a becker 2 speaker stereo(original speakers, even...) and had never been touched since 1979.
it excites me that after the amplifier, i MIGHT be able to hear noise other than, say...

i put silverstars in and have been re-veneering and adding new wood panels. the 240 didnt come with much in the way of luxury and i have always loved the look of a complete wooden console, manual a/c controls and all.
im terribly excited.
