Fuel Warmer on 603 Lift pump good enough to heat WVO

Hi guys,
My 603 has something before (or in conjuction with) the lift pump that I've read heats the fuel. Is this thing good enough to use it as a WVO or 50/50 WVO/Diesel heater?
Thanks,
Nick

No it isn't.

It is thermostatically controlled for one and the thermostat is a low temp one.

plus it is way to small to get you the 160 degrees needed even if it wasn't thermo controlled.

No it won't be enough.

It only warms the fuel when it's below 60something degrees F.

I was going to ask the same question, but with a twist.

Since I will be putting injector line heaters on to heat the oil that goes to the injectors,

and

since I plan on using 50/50 diesel/ WVO blend,

and

since I live in north florida and have done about 30,000 miles in my 240D on 90% WVO,

(pauses for breath)....

... I'm thinking the fuel heater will heat the fuel enough for my W124 with the injector line heaters (which heat up to 400F apparently).

Also, isn't it 60 deg C that they refer to the fuel heater thermostat and not 60 deg F? I wish I could find that page in the FSM again, I've looked and looked for it. Anybody know where it is?

I used the search button for the words diesel and thermostat.

Read post number 17.
